Columbia Students Protest Low Campus Wages

October 29, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Wednesday, Oct 28th about 30 students, teachers and allies took to the steps of Columbia University's provost office to have their voices heard. Living in NYC is expensive - especially when you're spending most of your time doing school work. Students told stories of having to make daily decisions of paying rent and eating - which is why they are demanding pay increases for graduate students and for work study programs.
