Zach D. Roberts is a photo/video journalist who has worked for the LA Times, Associated Press, the Village Voice, The Guardian, and NBC News, among others. His work covering the 2017 Unite the Right Rally was recognized as a Time Magazine Photo of the Year.
Zach's investigative work with NYT's Bestselling author Greg Palast has been published in Rolling Stone, Al Jazeera America, and in multiple books. He also regularly reports for The Progressive Magazine and does interviews of documentary filmmakers, authors, and journalists for his podcast, Isolated Incidents at his substack Visu.News.
He is the co-producer of two full-length documentaries, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy (2016) and Vigilante: Georgia’s Vote Suppression Hitman (2023). Zach is currently working on his first feature-length doc titled This Is How It Ends about the future of democracy in America.
